About the role
As the Technical Lead & Faglig Ansvarlig (FA), you will hold the statutory electrical responsibility for Enphase’s field operations in the region. You will ensure that all installations, commissioning, and service activities comply with Norwegian regulations (feal / fek and NEN 400) while actively performing and supervising advanced diagnostics, complex fault-finding, and high-level field interventions. In addition to your role as Faglig Ansvarlig you will actively perform and support Field service activities including installations, commissioning, maintenance, and advanced troubleshooting.
You will be part of the Western Europe team, reporting to Senior Director of EMEA Customer Service, and serving as the primary local technical authority. The role requires residence in the greater Oslo area and requires regular travel.

What you will be doing
Main Tasks:
- Statutory Electrical Responsibility (Faglig Ansvarlig): Act as the legally registered FA for Enphase in Norway. Ensure all company field operations, installations, and maintenance comply with FEK, FEL, NEK 400, and local grid operator guidelines.
- Quality Assurance & Compliance: Develop, maintain, and oversee internal electrical safety routines (IK-system). Ensure all safety documentation, declarations of conformity (samsvarserklæring), and verification reports are properly executed and archived.
- Advanced Field Interventions: Provide technical oversight and support for complex installations, commissioning, and advanced troubleshooting of Enphase products, including EV charging, solar, and energy storage solutions.
- Technical Mentorship & Supervision: Provide expert technical guidance and safety supervision to internal technicians and external installation partners. Ensure the team holds valid FSE training and safety equipment.
- Collaborate with Cross-Functional Teams: Work closely with Customer Support, Field Applications Engineers, and international leadership to resolve complex technical issues and align local operations with global standards.
- Regulatory & Stakeholder Relations: Act as the primary point of contact for local electrical authorities (DLE), grid owners, and regulatory bodies regarding Enphase field operations in Norway.
- Document & Report: Maintain accurate records of field activities, compliance audits, and safety incidents in internal systems.
Additional support activities (occasional):
- Support commissioning, maintenance, troubleshooting, and technical interventions for Enphase products when required.
- Provide hands-on technical assistance and guidance to customers, partners, and internal teams as needed.
What you bring
- Legal FA Eligibility (Strict Requirement): You must meet the requirements of the Norwegian Forskrift om elektroforetak og kvalifikasjonskrav for arbeid knyttet til elektriske anlegg (FEK) § 7 to act as Faglig Ansvarlig for residential/commercial installations.
- Education: Relevant qualifications meeting the requirements of FEK §7, such as a Bachelor's/Master's degree in Electrical Engineering or a Technical College degree (Fagskoleingeniør i elkraft) combined with a valid certificate of apprenticeship (Fagbrev Group L).
- Experience: Minimum 5 years of relevant experience as an electrician, electrical supervisor, or Faglig Ansvarlig, with knowledge of electrical installations, safety regulations, and quality standards. Experience within solar, energy storage, or EV charging is advantageous but not required.
- Certifications: Registered or eligible to be registered in Elvirksomhetsregisteret for Enphase; valid FSE training and first-aid certification.
- Technical Skills: Deep knowledge of NEK 400, FEK, and HSE regulations. Excellent analytical skills for diagnosing complex, systemic electrical faults.
- Language Skills: Fluency in Norwegian (written and spoken) is mandatory for regulatory compliance, alongside professional proficiency in English for corporate communication.
- Leadership & Mindset: Strong sense of accountability, uncompromising commitment to electrical safety, and the communication skills required to train and lead others.
- Flexibility: Valid driver’s license (Class B) and willingness to travel as required.

The basic salary range for this position is 699,600 to 1,385,208 NOK and may vary based on experience, skills, and location. This position is also eligible for bonus, equity, and benefits, with final compensation determined in accordance with applicable laws and internal equity.
